Nostr profile lookup
Paste an npub, nprofile, hex public key or NIP-05 address (like [email protected]) to see who it is, their Lightning address and their latest posts.
How it works
The lookup asks several public Nostr relays for the account’s profile (kind 0), its latest posts (kind 1) and its follow list (kind 3). NIP-05 addresses are resolved through the domain’s /.well-known/nostr.json file. Everything happens in your browser — nothing is logged or stored by us.
What you can paste
- npub — the public key in “bech32” form, starting with
npub1. This is what people share as their Nostr address. - nprofile — an npub plus hints about which relays to find the person on.
- Hex public key — the same key as 64 hexadecimal characters, used by developers and some apps.
- NIP-05 — a human-readable address like
[email protected], verified by that domain.
Never paste an nsec. Keys starting with nsec1 are private keys. No legitimate site needs it, and this tool refuses to process one.
