Child Safety Standards
Reventioned is a messaging, social, and marketplace app for adults (18+). We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any content or behavior that sexualizes minors. This page describes the standards we hold, how they are enforced, and how to reach us.
1. Prohibited conduct
- Creating, sharing, requesting, or storing CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a minor, real or synthetic.
- Contacting or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes, including grooming or soliciting imagery.
- Threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor (sextortion).
- Advertising, trafficking, or facilitating any of the above through chat, the feed, collectibles, or marketplace listings.
2. Who can use Reventioned
Reventioned is rated for adults and requires users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
3. In-app reporting
Every profile, conversation, post, and listing has a Report action. Reports about a child's safety are treated as the highest priority. Users can also Block anyone instantly, which stops all contact from that account. Reports can be filed without the reported person knowing.
4. How reports are handled
- Reports of CSAE are reviewed by a human as soon as they are received.
- Confirmed violations result in immediate and permanent removal of the account from all Reventioned surfaces, including its public feed presence and marketplace listings.
- Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where required, to relevant law enforcement. We preserve related evidence in accordance with applicable law.
5. How our design limits abuse
Private messages are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read them; that is why user reporting is central to our approach. There is no public directory of users, no location broadcasting, no algorithmic recommendation of strangers to minors, and no way for an account to be contacted by someone it has blocked. Public content on the open feed is subject to the same reporting and removal standards.
6. Compliance with law
We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including U.S. federal reporting obligations for providers, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
7. Contact
Child safety point of contact: [email protected]. Please put CHILD SAFETY in the subject line. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In the United States, reports can also be made to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
